About Our Childbirth Center
Thousands of babies have started their lives at Riverview Medical Center. With each new birth, we welcome our babies with open arms and extra special care.
In the capable hands of our board certified obstetricians, neonatologists, maternal fetal specialists, anesthesiologists, and 24-hour in-house pediatricians, you and your baby will have round-the-clock care. We make sure our new moms and dads have the peace of mind they need so they can focus on what's really important-baby!
We also know there's a lot more to having a baby than the delivery. That's why we offer complimentary services like education classes and instruction from a lactation consultant, even after you've gone home. Our Couplet Care program pairs a nurse with a mother so she can depend on the same helping hands and friendly face, pre and post partum. Our "Baby Makes Three" program encourages new moms and dads to come back and ask questions as often as necessary.
All this, and a room with a view. All of our private "four star cozy" rooms offer a view of the Navesink River and comfortable sleeper chairs for your childbirth partner. Our staff, amenities, and unique setting adds to this special moment for you and your family.

Riverview Medical Center proudly introduces Bella Baby Photography

Bringing experienced freelance photographers, Bella Baby captures your baby's first photograph with a natural, artistic style using natural light, professional grade digital cameras, and the idea that babies look most beautiful when being held in their parents' arms or cuddled in their own blankets. These photographers work with our team of nurses to communicate with each new mom, and offer a free 15 minute session to take the photos. You will be able to electronically view and order your photos the very same day. The images are then securely posted on Bella Baby's website for you to access and share with your friends before you even leave the medical center. |
