It takes the generosity of the entire community to provide the philanthropic support necessary to advance and enhance Riverview Medical Center. Contributions of any size to benefit any department are always appreciated. Our current priority areas are:

Surgical Services

Within the last few years, Riverview has continued to grow surgical volume by attracting new surgeons from top hospitals. The Life. Changing. capital campaign will fund a new Center for Surgical Excellence, which includes new same day surgery suites, a new PACU, and two sophisticated surgical suites, all scheduled for completion by the end of 2012.

Women's Services

Designed by women for women, the Women's Center offers exceptional quality care in an environment of caring. Our center offers the complete health care package in an environment akin to a spa. This all-inclusive approach to care includes fully digital mammography services with CAD technology, a comprehensive array of diagnostic services, access to total breast care through the continuum, as well as evening and weekend hours that will accommodate any lifestyle.

Neuroscience

We continue to see innovative procedures and firsts with the new neurosurgeons at Riverview. The specialty-trained neurosurgeons at Riverview work in close collaboration with neurologists, neuro-oncologists, radiologists, and spine surgeons to provide a team approach to the care of patients requiring surgery for a neurological condition or injury. With access to state-of-the-art technologies and the latest advancements, our neurosurgeons perform complex surgeries to treat epilepsy, brain tumors, brain aneurysms, nerve disorders, spinal reconstruction, stroke, and more.

Oncology

CyberKnife is a unique technology for the targeted delivery of radiation therapy at Riverview Medical Center. CyberKnife offers new hope to cancer patients and patients with inoperable tumors and nerve conditions.

Emergency Department

The Emergency Department cares for patients with all degrees of illnesses and injuries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With emergency certified physicians, Magnet-award winning nurses, and emergency trained technicians, our staff is experienced in treating those in need of emergency care and dedicated to providing the most comprehensive care as efficiently as possible. Riverview also has a designated stroke team and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and takes special care in the evaluation and treatment of patients suffering a heart attack.
