Life. Changing. progress is happening at Riverview Medical Center!

The construction on the surgical services project is well-underway, and the first phase is nearly complete.  The newly relocated and expanded Same Day Surgery Department will open this spring, providing ease of access for a complete patient experience in a modern, peaceful setting designed to compliment the highly skilled procedures performed there.  At the same time, the Riverview clinical team is already hard at work integrating the up-to-the-minute surgical elements and equipment in preparation for the opening of the two operating suites scheduled for 2013.  This state-of-the-art surgical technology will allow surgeons to have access to all communication functions in the OR through a single touch panel monitor, including audio, video, charting, and even specific room lighting.  The system will streamline communications, ensuring optimal efficiency in a cutting-edge surgical environment.

And, this is just the beginning. Thanks to your support, we are nearing completion of the Life. Changing. capital campaign to support the development of the Center for Surgical Excellence at Riverview Medical Center.  Through a committed partnership with our community, Riverview maintains its reputation for excellence in health care, recruiting and retaining high-quality physicians, nurse, and staff while acquiring advanced technologies in a comfortable healing environment.
