• American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Facts for Families:
  The AACAP developed Facts for Families to provide concise and up-to-date information on issues that affect children, teenagers, and their families. The AACAP provides this important information as a public service and the Facts for Families may be duplicated and distributed free of charge as long as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is properly credited and no profit is gained from their use.



• Bilingual Patient Education Materials—National Center for Farmworker Health, Inc.:
  This portfolio of low literacy, bilingual presentations was developed for use as a patient education tool to supplement and enhance existing teaching methods in migrant health centers and in outreach programs. It was developed with the intention of providing health care practitioners an easy, low cost method for providing health education to low literacy patients who speak English or Spanish. These materials may be printed and used free of charge.



• Low Literacy Brochures from the U.S. Food and Drug Agency:
  FDA provides easy-to-read health brochures in both English and Spanish. These brochures are available on this Website in both PDF and HTML formats.



• Meningitis Foundation of America:

• My Medicines brochure (FDA):
  Available in many languages, the "My Medicines" brochure is the centerpiece of the 1999 Women's Health: Take Time To Care Campaign. Use this easy-to-read pamphlet and medicine-tracking chart to learn more about taking medicines correctly.



• On-Line Diabetes Resources: Non-English Web Sites:
  This Web page brings together in one place descriptions of and links to only those Web pages in languages other than English dealing with diabetes, but is linked to the 15 other On-line Diabetes Resources pages dealing with other Web pages, other parts of the Internet, and other on-line services.



• Resources in Spanish for Consumer Health Information:
  NHIC puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with those organizations that are best able to provide answers. The site includes the Health Information Resource Database which contains information on 1,500 organizations and government offices.
