Wise & Well Summer 2006

Message to Wise & Well Members

Dear Friends,

The summer months are finally upon us and we hope that you will enjoy participating in this season's many Wise & Well programs. Summer is the time we should enjoy the great outdoors, and we believe every Wise & Well member will discover a summertime health seminar that will peak their interest.

Attend one of our three Vacation and Travel Safety programs held at all three hospitals in June, where you can learn about tips on how to plan for a safe and fun-filled vacation, including information on the proper way to carry prescription medications while on vacation.

You also can join us for our Women's Health and Wellness Event on June 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Riverview Medical Center. Make time for yourself and come to this event focused on keeping you healthy and well — mind, body and soul. Learn more about mammography, hormone replacement therapy, and nutrition for healthy aging. For more information or to register for these and other Wise & Well programs, call 1-800-560-9990.

Whatever you do this summer, make it a safe one. Everyone at Meridian is committed to your good health and safety and we wish you a wonderful summer!

only will be able to meet and talk with Meridian Orthopedic specialists to discuss the latest in sports medicine to keep them moving, but will also be able to learn to hit off the big tee or brush up on basics with talented PGA professionals.

I want to thank you for taking an active role in your health and wellness. And I hope you enjoy the warm months ahead.

Best of Health,

John K. Lloyd, FACHE
