Alton A. Hovnanian Emergency Care Center

You never know when an emergency may strike, but you can be assured that Riverview Medical Center is prepared to help when needed. Compassionate and skilled experts are available to provide full service emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Emergency Department cares for patients with all degrees of illnesses and injuries. With emergency certified physicians, Magnet-award winning nurses, and emergency trained technicians, our staff is experienced in treating those in need of emergency care and dedicated to providing the most comprehensive care as efficiently as possible.

Patients will also find peace of mind in knowing that Riverview Medical Center has a designated stroke team who is at the patient's bedside in a matter of minutes if the emergency department staff suspects that someone has suffered a stroke. This quick response and careful evaluation can have dramatic impact on a patient's ability to have a successful recovery from a stroke. Additionally, Riverview is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and takes special care in the evaluation and treatment of patients suffering a heart attack.
