Orthopedic Center / Joint Replacement Center
The orthopedists and support staff at Riverview Medical Center work to prevent and correct injuries and disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. A majority of our staff are graduates of fellowships in subspecialties including hand, spine, sports medicine, and joint replacement.
Experts in Joint Replacement and Other Complex Surgeries
Normally, the joints of the body provide smooth, pain-free movement. However, as we age, our bodies undergo change, and sometimes this results in specific joint problems. For instance, when a joint becomes damaged or diseased with arthritis, it can become stiff and painful, altering your lifestyle and preventing you from participating in the daily activities you enjoy.
At Riverview Medical Center, our experienced professionals will accurately diagnose your problem and develop a plan of care that fits your needs. We make every attempt to try every possible (non-surgical) treatment before considering surgery. However, when a surgical procedure becomes the right choice, our team has the ability to replace all major joints, including the hips, knees, and shoulders.
Orthopedic Surgery
Orthopedists associated with Riverview are skilled in: athroscopy, advanced fracture care, total joint surgery, shoulder reconstruction, hand surgery, and knee reconstruction. Surgeons also perform advanced arthritis surgery through The Riverview Center for Total Joint Replacement, including minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement. No matter why or how you play, you can count on Riverview Medical Center to help you recover from injuries and get back in the game as soon as possible. And our prevention programs are designed to help you minimize your risk of injury and optimize performance. If you do get injured, we offer a wide range of non-surgical treatment options, including rehabilitation services. And if surgery is necessary, you're in capable hands.
Innovative Treatments for Spinal Injuries and Disorders
Eight out of 10 Americans will experience back pain at some point in their lives. The good news is that the majority of back injuries are preventable, and most individuals fully recover in a short period of time with conservative treatments.
Our medical professionals have training and experience in treating spinal disorders — our surgeons specialize in advanced surgical procedures of the spine. We offer a full range or preventive services, rehabilitation, and advanced diagnostic testing.
