Children's Services
At Riverview Medical Center, we understand that our children are our most valuable resource. We are fully committed to providing quality pediatric care right here, close to home, so that the families in our community can always find comfort from the medical professionals they have always trusted at Riverview Medical Center.
Our Inpatient Pediatric Unit is a six-bed acute care unit that treats children ages newborn to 18 years old. Each room has a television, VCR, and telephone. Parents are allowed to stay with their child 24 hours a day. There is also a playroom located on the Unit with toys, games, and activities for all ages.
Riverview also offers advanced pediatric care through our Outpatient Pediatric Subspecialties clinic, which provides clinical care services for a variety of pediatric health issues and conditions.
At the Outpatient Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic, your child will meet with a board-certified pediatrician who concentrates in the medical specialty specific to your child's needs. Our pediatric specialists then work with your primary care pediatrician to create an overall plan to manage your child's health.
And as a member of Meridian Health, our patients have direct access to advanced inpatient care and affiliated child health services both within Riverview Medical Center and at Meridian's pediatric programs and services located throughout Monmouth County.
