At Riverview Medical Center you’ll find a comprehensive outpatient program for rehabilitation. Why? Because our program is tied to the expertise of our CARF-accredited inpatient acute rehabilitation center and the entire network of Meridian Health outpatient, inpatient, subacute nursing facilities, and home care rehabilitation services.

Physical Therapy focuses on developing an individualized plan to regain a patient’s level of functioning and wellness that is most appropriate for them.

Speech Pathology focuses on patients of all ages to maximize the ability to communicate and provide safe, effective swallowing treatment programs across a wide variety of impairments.

Occupational Therapy focuses on increasing strength, coordination, dexterity, perceptional and cognitive skills, along with the principles of energy conservation, with the goal to maximize independence.

Audiology focuses on diagnosing and treating hearing disorders in infants through the geriatric population.

For your convenience, Riverview offers outpatient physical therapy at two convenient locations—at the medical center and at an offsite location in Holmdel. Both centers provide the excellence and quality you expect from Meridian Health as well as access to a the full continuum of rehabilitation services—from the hospital to your home—to meet your medical and rehabilitative needs.
