At Riverview Medical Center, our Acute Stroke Team is available to rapidly respond, assess, and treat stroke emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Our specially trained staff coordinate your care every step of the way — from treatment through rehabilitation. Call 911 immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms of stroke:

• Sudden weakness or numbness, especially on one side of the body.
• Difficulty speaking or understanding.
• Sudden vision changes.
• Dizziness, balance problems, or difficulty walking.
• Sudden severe headache.
