Riverview Medical Center's Surgical Services provides care for adults and children. The skilled team of professionals embraces a surgical philosophy of respect, compassion, advocacy and integrity. Riverview has nine Operating Suites and one Cysto Room. Two of the suites were recently renovated and now offer state-of-the-art settings for laparoscopic surgery.

At Riverview, we care for you throughout your surgical experience, whether it be at our inpatient or outpatient surgical setting. Our board certified physicians, nurses and caregiving team are equipped with leading edge technology and work together as a team to deliver service excellence.
Riverview offers a unique technology called the "BIS" monitor, which significantly reduces the chances of unintended anesthesia awareness. Besides preventing anesthesia awareness, the BIS monitor is also useful in determining if a patient is being over-sedated. This helps patients wake up more quickly, feel clearer-headed and experience fewer side effects after surgery.
